Walk through any Dallas neighborhood after a storm or a slow leak, and you’ll see homes in every stage of recovery. We could tell you how our drying equipment works and which certifications our techs hold. But when your ceiling is sagging or your drywall is wicking water up from the slab, you want to see what “fixed” actually looks like. These project stories show the work itself, from the first cut to the final coat of paint.

Kitchen Sink Supply Line Rupture in Lake Highlands

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Before: cabinet base and subfloor saturated after a braided supply line let go overnight. After: dried, rebuilt, and repainted.

A stainless braided supply line under the kitchen sink split while the homeowners slept, feeding water into the cabinet cavity and the subfloor below for roughly six hours. Our crew pulled the toe-kick and the cabinet bottom, set Dri-Eaz dehumidifiers and a Phoenix axial fan to move air through the chase, and monitored RH daily with a psychrometer until the lumber read under 10 percent moisture content. We rebuilt the cabinet interior, matched the existing finish, and the homeowners had their kitchen back in nine days.

Bathroom Mold Behind a Guest Shower in Richardson

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Before: mold growth on the back side of a shower wall after a slow valve leak. After: remediated, rebuilt with moisture-resistant board, and repainted.

A slow drip at a guest bathroom shower valve had been feeding moisture into the wall cavity for months before the homeowner noticed a musty smell in the adjacent closet. We contained the area under negative air pressure, removed the affected drywall and insulation, and treated the framing with an antimicrobial under IICRC S520 guidelines. Then we installed cement backer board behind the new tile, replaced the valve, and sealed everything up. The homeowner told us the guest bath now smells better than the master.

Washing Machine Overflow in a Uptown Condo

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Before: washing machine drain backing up and flooding a third-floor condo. After: floors dried in place, baseboards reset, carpet restretched.

An uptown condominium got an unexpected indoor pool when a washing machine drain line clogged and the machine kept pumping. The water ran from the laundry closet, under the hallway baseboards, and into the living room carpet. Because the building is concrete and steel, our drying strategy focused on the finished surfaces rather than structural lumber. We used an Injectidry system to pull water from under the baseboards without removing them, dried the drywall in place, and restretched the carpet after sanitizing the pad. The HOA’s insurance adjuster appreciated the photo log we sent over with our moisture map.

Garage Fire Aftermath in Mesquite

Technician performing professional water damage restoration and carpet water extraction
Before: soot and smoke damage throughout a garage after a workbench fire. After: damaged sections removed, sealed, and refinished.

A battery charger on a workbench shorted and lit up a Mesquite garage, leaving soot on every surface and charred framing in one corner. We removed the fire-damaged drywall, sealed the framing with an odor-blocking primer, and treated the remaining surfaces to pull smoke residue out of the paint. The homeowner kept telling us the garage would never smell normal again. Two weeks after we finished, he called to say his wife had started parking in there again, which he considered a minor miracle.

Slab Leak Under Engineered Wood Floors in Carrollton

Technician inspecting water damaged carpet and subfloor for professional restoration
Before: engineered wood planks cupping from a pinhole leak in a copper line under the slab. After: floors dried in place and refinished.

A pinhole leak in a copper water line under a Carrollton living room sent moisture up through the slab and into the engineered wood flooring. The planks started cupping at the edges, and the homeowner’s insurance adjuster initially wrote the floor off as a total loss. We set up a drying system using B-Air and Dri-Eaz equipment, documented the moisture levels daily, and got the flooring back to a stable reading in six days. The floor required refinishing, but the material was saved. The adjuster approved the repair based on our readings and photo documentation.

Ceiling Collapse from a Toilet Overflow in Plano

Professional technician inspecting water damaged carpet with moisture meter
Before: dining room ceiling down after a second-floor toilet ran overnight. After: new drywall, texture matched, and paint blended.

A second-floor toilet in a Plano home decided to run all night, and by morning the dining room ceiling below it had given up. Our team removed the wet insulation and damaged drywall, dried the joist cavities with focused airflow, and verified the framing was sound before rebuilding. We matched the ceiling texture and blended the paint so the repair disappears into the room. The homeowner said she’d never find the patch, and honestly, that’s the best compliment we get on a ceiling job.
